Pia Raap
Born in Bremen Pia Raap has been living in Hamburg for the last ten years. Photography is her passion and creative counterweight to her regular job. She deliberately decided not to use photography to earn her living with, so her creativity would not become subject to economic constraint. Pia Raap takes us on an unusual intimate expedition on the human body. She links nude with miniature photography in a very humourous and sensual way.
Of course she personally tested and prooved that superglue does not stick to the skin of the body half as much as on fingertips. Some of her scenarios feature her own body, studded with little miniature figures from a model railway.
